The 12’ 3.5lb fishing rods have been designed for targeting big, special carp found in UK waters. British carp fishing offers a variety of angling situations from low stock big pits to small, intimate venues. These rods have been developed to accommodate most styles of carp angling in the UK.

Offering enough strength and degree of angle above the water’s surface to put pressure on, without the worry of your gear being inadequate for the adrenaline fuelled fight. These rods have an elegant, minimalistic stealth style build. Featuring full length flared Duplon handles for increased comfort under strain, gloss black Alps DPS real seats for ultimate reliability, stylish black laser engraved branded butt caps, and importantly, super line friendly lightweight 50mm-16mm double and single legged, SiC guides.
The choice for SiC guides comes from real world experience both personal and among peers, whereby modern ceramic-less guides often require repair after regular use and can damage mainline. The chance of losing a special one right at the culminating moment of weeks, months, maybe years of effort, to damaged grated mainline, is a risk we're not taking. Ceramic guides are extremely line friendly and will not let you down. These are not without their downsides, however, freak problems can be managed quickly and effectively, returning you back on the bank with complete confidence in your Big Carp tackle.
The stylish, minimalistic design has proved most popular among clients looking for custom built rods and, with that experience, these have designed to suit tastes of most carp anglers.
During testing, these rods have achieved clip hitting, level line casts at 30 wraps, using 3.5oz zip leads. Carp have been stalked up close and personal, with bites coming right underneath fallen trees on small venues, and a variety of scenarios in between.
The hand built nature of our rods brings a level of detail not seen in mass produced carp rods. Our slower production allows more focus on the finer details not usually known in carp rod construction by the masses. One key element is aligning the guides and reel seat to the rods spine. This is the true test curve of the blank at its softest point throughout its radius. The result is a carp rod that does not twist on the cast, meaning a higher degree of accuracy when putting a lead on a bin lid sized spot. It could be the difference between a rig being weeded up and not fishing all night, to catching that special one you've been hoping for.
